Our Story & Mission

Discover how an authentic scriptural prompt transformed into a thriving vocational refuge.

How It Began

Tabitha Ministry was founded in 2010 by Rev. Tabitha after she directly witnessed the compounding financial vulnerability of widows residing within her home community. Confronted with deep systemic gaps, she launched a basic sewing loop in a borrowed garage to offer practical support.

The ministry takes its structural inspiration from the historical disciple detailed in Acts 9:36, known as Tabitha or Dorcas, who was famously celebrated for spending her days crafting clothes and coordinating critical relief assets for disenfranchised individuals. What started with two manually operated machines has now expanded into an multi-department resource ecosystem

Vision Mission

Our Non-Negotiable Core Values

The foundational pillars built directly upon service, love, and transformation.

Compassion in Action

We don't just feel sympathy—we act. Like Tabitha, we meet tangible needs through clothing, food, and shelter, demonstrating God's love with practical hands and open hearts.

Dignity for All

Every person is made in God's image. We serve the poor, widowed, and forgotten with profound respect, ensuring no one feels invisible, worthless, or beyond the reach of grace.

Gospel-Centered Community

We are more than a charity—we are family. Through prayer, fellowship, and discipleship, we restore broken relationships and invite everyone into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Faithful Stewardship

We honor God by using every resource wisely, transparently, and generously. From donated fabric to financial gifts, we maximize impact for His kingdom, not our own glory.
